Citrus Lane March 2014 Review

Our Citrus Lane box was estimated to deliver in the 20th but to our surprise it arrived today!!! This is what we received for a 22 month old girl (I aged Ashlynn up by 2 months).

1. You Are My Baby Book from Chronicle Books ($8.99)- This book is absolutely adorable!!! It has two sets of pages you turn one for the mom animal and one for the baby. I think this is one of our new favorites!!

2. Qubes from Hape ($9.99)- I immediately fell in love with these! They are cute and perfect to help Ashlynn learn her animals. Ashlynn is crazy about these! A big hit!

3. Citrus Hydrating Body Lotion from Weleda ($16.50)- This lotion is made from organic ingredients hydrates dry skin. I do not use lotion so I will probably use this on Ashlynn. I love that is made form organic ingredients!

4. Medi Buddy from Me4Kidz ($5.25)- I think this will come i handy! It is small and compact that I can just grab it and go or throw it in the car, diaper bag, etc. It has everything you need for emergencies! I'm sure we will get use out of this!

The price I paid for this box was $25.00.

Total value of the box was around $40.73.

Overall I think it was great box and we will use everything in it.

Cloth Safe Buttpaste!

So I realized I needed a cloth safe buttpaste whenever I ran out of liners when we were running errands and so I had to put her in a disposable so I wouldn't get it on my cloth diapers. My friend let me try one of her samples of CJ's butter and it was amazing! I really liked it but I thought I could make something similar. I came across a CJ's Butter copycat and decided to try it out! This is my review on how it worked!

You will need:

~1/4 cup of coconut oil

~1/4 cup of beeswax

~Olive oil- if you are planning on using a stick like me you will need 1/4 cup AND 1 1/2 tablespoons, if you are using a jar you will need 1/4 cup.

~5-7 drops of essential oils (optional- I used 7 drops of tea tree and 7 drops of lavender).

~A container

First grate and measure your beeswax.

Add your coconut oil. Put in the microwave at 30 second intervals stirring in between until it is all melted.

Add your olive oil.

Add your essential oils.

Let it sit for a few minutes to cool some then put into your container. Now you have a cloth safe buttpaste!!! It also smells great!!!

Update!

Sorry I have been MIA for a little while. We have just been enjoying life and being lazy! I have a few new cloth diapers I am trying out and will do a review on shortly (Bumgenius elemental, Bumgenius 4.0, Applecheeks, and Applecheeks swim diaper). Good news we will be going home next month for a little while! I promise I will try to keep up with my blog and my reviews.So what exactly have we been up to?? Just having fun!
