Magic Bullet Review

I have wanted the magic bullet ever since I saw it on TV. We came across this at the NEX for only $50.00. We have had it for a few weeks now and I love it! It doesn't do everything in 5 seconds like those infomercial said but it still works great. What we make the most with it right now is smoothies! It gets our daughter to eat more veggies without the fuss and it is from fresh ingredients!

This is what it comes with.
So the first recipe we have made turned out awesome!
We took 2 strawberries, one whole banana, 2-4 ice cubes, and a palm full of kale. It was great!! For Ashlynn the other day I took the small cup and filled it with a couple pieces of frozen strawberry and banana and put a little bit of kale and carrots in there. She loved it! You also cannot taste the veggies in it!
Overall I am very happy with this purchase and will share more recipes soon!

Citrus lane February 2014

~Disclosure this post contains referral links.

We received our Citrus Lane Box today! I could tell the box was packed full and I was somewhat right. So lets get started...

1. Stock Pot & Utensil Set from Green Toys ($16.99?). I am not sure about the exact value because the one they have online also has a skillet which ours did not come with. I love green toys and am happy with their toys. Ashlynn loves this even though she already has pots and pans. We will be putting this upstairs in her room since she already has some downstairs.

2. Silicone Divided Plate from Oogaa ($10.99) We have never received anything from this company but we always can use new plates for her!! This is dishwasher, freezer, microwave, and oven safe! I am very happy with this item.

3. Starlight Sailor from Barefoot Books ($14.99). We always love new books because Ashlynn doesn't have a whole bunch. This one is very cute! An excellent addition to our books.

4. Green Apple Age Defy Hand Cream from Juice Beauty ($12.00). It is nice to add stuff for mom in some of these boxes but this was one item I could do without. I don't even use hand cream that much so this was not a good item for us.

The price I paid for this box was $25.00.
Total value of the box was around $54.97.
Overall it was a pretty good box and am happy with most of the items in it.

Want to try Citrus Lane for your child? Use my link to sign up and get $10 off your box. When you sign up through my link it also gives me a $10 credit so I can continue to get these boxes for my little one!

Man Bouquet

I hope everyone had a great Valentine's day!! Sorry I haven't posted anything in awhile but me and Ashlynn were under the weather. I also had an order for a romper and pillowcase dress (another just precious segment?). It has been crazy busy for us. So as Valentine's Day approached I was trying to think of something very thoughtful to do for my husband. My friend showed me this idea on pinterest and decided to give it a shot! It turned out fantastic! It is called a broquet (haha). I think he loved it! This is how it turned out...

I bought a beer mug from Walmart, a bag of assorted candy, a bag of Reese's,  and went to class six to get the little bottles of liquor. I used sticks and glued each item to one (for the liquor I had to use two sticks taped together). In order to get them to stay up I used the assorted candy to put in the bottom of the beer mug as well. Then I just added beef jerky and the Jolly rancher bites (the liquor to the left isn't in the bouquet because they are glass bottle but I wanted to try them (: )
Overall this was fairly easy to make and inexpensive!

Just Precious~ My First Romper!

I made this romper literally the night before our photo session! I stayed up most of the night working on it and rushed but it turned out pretty good! I also made the bow! OF course all of her bows have to be BIG! We are from Texas and bigger is better right?!?! This was however on the smaller side because daddy didn't want it too big. I also downloaded this pattern on Etsy so I wouldn't have to guess on measurements. She was 7 months in these pictures and I believe I made a 9 month romper (her legs were chunkier ha). It fit her for a few months after that. I plan on making her another one hopefully for Easter?!?!?! If I can find fabric I like.

Mom what is this on my hand! It is so funny because she still makes this
face when sand gets on her hands!!

Isn't is just precious?? I can't wait to share more hand made items with you!
